Alaska Statewide Energy Master Plan
We have an ominous harbinger of things in store for Alaska. The tactics imagined in the Inflation Reduction Act Implementation Plan, known as the Alaska Statewide Energy Master Plan, is a cut and paste plagiarism of Germany’s failed energy strategy. Perhaps we can fast forward to just going back on coal, but let us explain…..
This substack is a review, synopsis and perhaps a few well researched suppositions.
Alaska has been completely co-opted and is under the functional control of radical carbon elimination eco-fascists and the private equity pirates who stand to greatly profit from the artificially created energy future as outlined, manipulated, and heavily financed by the green new deal known as the Inflation Reduction Act.
The recent draft of Alaska’s Statewide Energy Master Plan is proof of this. It is rife with the state bloating, budget expanding wishful thinking action items that Alaska is growingly being known for. The plan calls for extraordinary expenditures while claiming fanciful, even fallacious savings and lower cost derived from completely unrelated geography and capability of Iceland all while also proclaiming the plan to be in the name of energy security.
Concerned citizens would be remiss to not do a short look at Australian and Germany’s energy pricing and security before reading the governor’s task force’s master plan. It appears as if the governor and every single person having input into this master plan has failed to do just that. Not one proposed flight of fancy listed in this draft master plan can even reasonably be considered as a viable option to reduce cost and increase stability, and the WEF/UN buzzwords inserted, security and sustainability. These two words are utilized to provoke an emotional response for compliance for this globalist derived scheme. There is, in fact, an action item in this master plan to “develop a suite of tools to deal with opposition” oddly classified as a strategy to lower cost. You couldn’t make this up if you tried.
The governor could well save enormous amounts of money by abandoning this sham of an effort called the State of Alaska Statewide Energy Master Plan and simply stand up a small implementation team called “Biden Inflation Reduction Act/Green New Deal Implementation Team”.
This state has readily available, affordable and easily developable energy security and the technology to utilize and capitalize on it in the form of natural gas, oil and coal. As a recent glaring example, the University of Alaska Fairbanks in recent years, commissioned a new coal plant for its power and heat.
To force, trick, and manipulate Alaskans to have expensive and unreliable energy is one thing, to use their and other’s money that should be used to optimize on the aforementioned abundant and affordable resources is irresponsible, reckless, wasteful and borders on criminal behavior. All of this is in some useless adherence to “cleaner” energy.
The coal and gas will be used. Sending gas to other countries while making Alaskans utilize expensive, unreliable (solar and wind) or non-existent (large scale hydro and micro reactors) power supplies guarantees that it will be burned inefficiently and uncleanly. Foreign countries do not have the EPA requirements, nor advantage the technology required for clean coal, oil and gas generation that we require. There is also the cost and inefficiency of transport. Why not burn it here? Why is there not one jot nor tittle in the Master Plan to refurbish, enhance, and capitalize on Alaska’s abundant resources? Wouldn’t that be energy security and sustainability instead of dumping money into unreliable or non-existent methods that all depend the money and resources from outside the state?
The strategies and action items of this Master Plan will be investigated and commented on very soon and submitted to the Alaska Energy Security Task Force as well as legislators who should well know what is being done to poor Alaskans and protect us from it.
The first public meeting resulted in three public commenters, one asking for help - “money” to electrify Juneau, and two who basically stated that the master plan was released and meetings for public comment rushed and held during business hours. That’s all, from the entire state. In dystopian, surrealistic time period of a full length movie, the whole committee basically stared at their phones as a token requirement to meet the public testimony check mark. Much of this plan, for reference, is an extension of the globalist derived Alaska Statewide Comprehensive Development Strategy. This is a plea for all Alaskans to study this issue, and we will help, and call into the meeting on October 24th.
